Privacy
Our no-logs policy, in plain English
A VPN sees a lot of your traffic. Here is exactly what NetixVPN keeps, what it never records, and why.
What we never record
The websites and apps you use
We don’t look at or record where your traffic goes.
Your DNS lookups
Our DNS resolvers run with query logging switched off.
The IP address you connect from
Like any WireGuard server, ours keep your device’s current address in memory while you’re connected, so replies can reach you. It’s never written to disk or sent to us, and it’s gone when the server restarts.
When you connect and disconnect
We keep only the time your device last connected, which we show you in your client area. Earlier connections aren’t kept.
Which server you use
Our servers report traffic totals per device, not which location it came through.
The content of your traffic
We never inspect, store or sell it.
What we keep, and why
| What | Details | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your account details | Name, email address, postal address and your orders and invoices. | To bill you, to keep the tax records UK law requires, and to help when you contact support. |
| Payment details | Handled by our payment providers. We never see or store full card numbers. | To take payments. |
| Client area sign-ins | The IP address and time of sign-ins to your client area (not your VPN connections). | To protect your account against takeover. |
| Your devices | The name you give each device, its WireGuard public key and its private address inside our network. If we created the key for you, the private key too, stored encrypted, so you can download your files again. | To let your devices connect, and to show them to you. |
| Data used and last connected | Total data uploaded and downloaded by each device, and when it last connected. Only the latest time is kept, not a history. | To show them in your client area, where your plan’s total also appears, and to spot problems such as a stolen device. |
| Support conversations | Tickets and emails you send us. | To help you, and to look back at earlier answers. |
Nothing to hand over
We can only give out what we have. We can’t produce browsing history, DNS lookups, connection logs or the addresses you connected from, because we never record them.
When it’s deleted
Devices are deleted the moment you remove them. Your VPN account, with all its devices, is deleted when your plan ends after you cancel. If a renewal isn’t paid, the account is paused a few days after the due date and deleted about a month later. Billing records are kept for six years after the end of the tax year they belong to, because UK tax law requires it, and then deleted.
If we’re asked for data
We follow UK law, so we answer valid legal requests. We can only hand over what’s listed above. We can’t produce browsing history, DNS lookups, connection logs or the addresses you connected from, because we don’t have them.
