Acceptable use policy

Last updated 14 October 2026.

NetixVPN is for protecting your privacy and security. These rules keep the service working for everyone and our IP addresses clean.

You must not use NetixVPN to

  • break the law in the UK or in the country you use the service from;
  • access, store or share child sexual abuse material, or material that promotes terrorism or violence;
  • gain unauthorised access to systems, or scan, probe or attack networks, including denial-of-service attacks;
  • send spam or bulk unsolicited messages. Outgoing email on port 25 is blocked on all our servers;
  • commit fraud, phishing, or carding, or distribute malware;
  • infringe other people’s copyright or other intellectual property;
  • harass, threaten or abuse other people;
  • resell or share your access beyond what your plan allows;
  • interfere with our servers or other customers, or try to get around the limits of your plan.

How we deal with abuse

Because we keep no activity logs, we usually can’t link a report about one of our shared IP addresses to a customer. We prevent abuse instead: we block ports and traffic that are commonly abused, keep customers isolated from each other, and act on what we can see, such as unusual load from one device. If we have good reason to believe an account breaks this policy, we may suspend or close it.

To report abuse, email [email protected] with the IP address, the date and time with time zone, and a description of what happened.
